Welcome & thank you for visiting with us. Allentown Sewing Machine is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania in the great Lehigh Valley, close by to Easton, Bethlehem, Emmaus, Montgomeryville, Stroudsburg, Weissport, Oley, Kutztown, Pottstown, Reading & Phillipsburg New Jersey.
We are a family business owned by Bill & Diana Slopik. In 1976, after finding teaching was not for him, Bill started working for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. In 1981 he left Singer and started working for an independent sewing machine dealer. His job included traveling to several locations for sales and service, management & school repairs.
In 1991 we bought the business located in Levine's Fabrics & called Levine's Sewing Machine Outlet. After Levine's closed in 1993, we moved to our current 4600 square foot location & opened as Allentown Sewing Machine Outlet. We have since added notions, fabrics & classes and currently employ 2 full time & 3 part time workers.
We carry Pfaff, BabyLock, Elna & Singer Sewing Machines & stock most current notions & threads. Our fabric selection consists of most major brands including Benartex, Hoffman, kauffman, Michael Miller, Moda, Northcott, South Seas, Fabri-Quilt, RJR, Marcus and more!
We aim to give all our customers personal attention, good value and great service. There is always time to chat or discuss any problem or project and we love to have our customers show & tell.
